Yes. Alabama’s under-21 DUI rule is far lower than the adult .08 threshold.
Section 32-5A-191(b) says a person under 21 may not drive or be in actual physical control of a vehicle with 0.02% or more alcohol in blood, and the statute directs ALEA to suspend or revoke the license of a person convicted or adjudicated under that subsection. For students, that means even “I only had one drink” cases can create real exposure.
